Laurie is a teacher at American International School of Guangzhou. This school, like my own school SFS, is just starting out with 1:1 laptop. The goal seems to be to start with grade 5 and move up to HS. The laptops are currently PCs, but the board is still debating the issue of Mac vs PC. Laptops stay within the school. Students are not allowed to take them home.

Paul Gillett is the HS IT coordinator at Seoul Foreign School and also teachs digital photography, video production, and web design. His school is in the early stages of planning for 1:1 laptop integration in HS first then determine ES plans. Focus is to determine platform, whether it be school owned or student owned, then roll out strategy. Currently there is a computer lab that is PC-based and some MACs.
